Architects Architecture Design Beach House By Olson Kundig Beach House Design

This is Unique Slaughterhouse Beach House by Olson Kundig Architecture Design. This Beach House sited in a spectacular land near the famous surfing spot, close to Slaughterhouse Beach, Maui. Designed by Olson Kundig Architects, this house expands the concept of a traditional surfing hut with three connected huts – general living quarters, guest suites, and a main sleeping area. The structures of the walls are built of adobe. In this process, various blends of local land together, packaged and see the resulting striated layers inside and outside the building. The walls in harmony with the environment, are low maintenance, virtually fireproof, and a strong barrier to sound. The unusual building is said to take the concept of a surfing hut forward and combine its traditional features with a contemporary way of living. More explanation from the architects displayed below:
