This is Modern and Luxury Olson Residence by Macy Architecture. The house previously ignored the basic principles of bioclimatic design and had a poor relationship with your site. Moreover, it was in a state of dilapidation so it was necessary to demolish it entirely with the exception of the garage. The new house was designed in accordance with the principles of passive solar design – with great southern exposure and natural ventilation strategies. This is especially evident in the living room / dining main pocket where the door entirely on adjacent walls, noticing the effect of an independent open-air pavilion. The new house is really more modest in size, then the house before, even with the addition of a second separate dwelling unit (2340 x 2455 sf sf).
